Academic CentreDance ensemble "Pērle" was founded in 2010 by Raimonds Dzintars. Ensemble's tutors are Ignats Ancans, Marga Apsite, Juris Gogulis, and concertmaster – Dana Ruduka.
The repertoire of "Pērle" includes scenic folk dances that have passed the test of time, as well as dances created by contemporary choreographers and dancers themselves. Historically, many upcoming choreographers and dance teachers have danced in "Pērle", who continue to dance in this ensemble even after their graduation while also leading other dance ensembles. "Pērle" has participated in several projects created by Latvian Television, as well as performed concerts in Lithuania, Sweden, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Canada, China, South Korea, Greece, France, India and the USA.
