The Men's Choir of the Presidium Convention (P!K!V!K) of the University of Latvia is a bursary choir, in which only members from student sororities (burses) sing. The choir was founded in 1925 and was one of the leading men's choirs in Latvia. In 2016, Lorija Cinkus, who is the current artistic director of the choir, joined the choir with fresh artistic ideas that raised the choir's repertoire and activities to another level.
Since its revival in 1999, P!K!V!K! actively participates in the musical life of Latvian choirs, in the Nationwide Latvian Song and Dance festival, Baltic students' Song and Dance festival "Gaudeamus", and various other musical projects. The men's choir of the Presidium Convention has taken part in various Latvian TV shows, as well as in the master class of the European Choir Olympiad, in the rock saga "Ancient Kursa", and Men's Choir Festival in Pécs, Hungary.
